Job summary

Akri USA is seeking an Events & Activities Planning / Food & Bev Support Director to oversee operations across multiple stores, directing planning management and executing directives from executive leadership.

The role includes regional strategy development for revenue and customer satisfaction, frequent travel between stores, and training for DM/GM/FB managers, while ensuring safety, inventory control, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Must keep employees motivated and resolve conflicts.
• Oversee multiple stores and frequent travel.
• Create and maintain budgets for assigned stores and adjust as needed with logical, numbers-backed reasoning.
• Will have to make decisions that affect the company; be able to think critically and act promptly.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to gain, demonstrate, and coach operation knowledge/skill.
• Ability to plan, set goals, and manage effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day support and training to DM/GM/FB Managers of assigned stores to reach sales/promotion goals.
• Develop effective action plans and strategies based on the corporate directed goals.
• Work together with Operations team to ensure management are adequately filled.
• Ensure that all safety standards such as OSHA are maintained.
• Ensure that store cash assets and fixed assets are being inventoried and managed.
• Ensure that all required reports are submitted in timely matter accurately; coach the store management and FB Managers to do so.
• Promptly respond to customer/employee injury incidents as needed and coordinate with Stores and employees.
• Be in charge of or participate in cross-department projects and assignments tasked by EAP.
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
• Organize and supervise shifts.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen equipment, utensils and cleaning products.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
• Manage the inventory and order food and beverages, equipment, and supplies.
• Oversee food preparation, portion sizes, and overall presentation of food.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas.
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service.
• Provide support to all departments on additional projects
• Data creation and data aggregation as needed
• Support actions planned by the EAP team and move in the same direction
• Conduct and support other planning projects (Party/Bowling/Billiards/Karaoke/Darts/Ping Pong) as needed
• Occasionally do multiple business trips a month
