Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Director of Recreation Services to lead and innovate resident activity programming in a long-term care setting. You will oversee program design, staff supervision, and collaboration with the care team to promote person-centered care and engaging activities for residents.

You will build partnerships with families and community groups, manage budgets, ensure safety and compliance, and drive quality improvement through resident feedback and data.”

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management abilities in a healthcare setting.
• Experience designing and leading resident activity programs.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Experience with volunteer program development and program evaluation.
