Job summary

Communities In Schools Houston, Inc. seeks a Director of Quality and Standards to lead the Quality & Standards department, overseeing data integrity, staff training, contract compliance, and evaluation.

The role ensures accuracy and compliance across departments to meet performance expectations. You will supervise the Q&S Data Manager, Data Specialist, and Monitor, coordinate with TEA and funders, and drive training and monitoring initiatives in a hybrid work environment around the Greater

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field.
• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Five years of experience in Compliance, Training or Evaluation; three years in staff supervision and strategic leadership in a nonprofit or educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administrative oversight of the Quality and Standards department and day-to-day operations.
• Review and monitor compliance with CIS State/TEA contractual requirements and grants.
• Manage departmental budgets and support fiscal responsibility; present reports to the Board.
• Coordinate timely and accurate program reports for funders, districts, and leadership.
• Supervise data collection and entry processes with staff and ENVOC.
• Develop training in response to performance data and trends; monitor compliance and documentation.
