Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance for Engine Component Repair Services to provide strategic and day-to-day quality leadership across repair locations. This role leads site Quality Managers, aligns quality strategy with regulatory requirements, and drives continuous improvement to protect product integrity and customer performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 12 years in aerospace quality, maintenance/repair/overhaul, repair-station, manufacturing, engineering, or operations leadership.
• Minimum 7 years of people-leadership experience leading multi-site quality teams.
• Experience with FAA Part 145 repair-station operations and related regulations.
• Track record in quality performance, regulatory compliance, audits, investigations, and corrective-action programs.

Responsibilities

• Own and deploy the ECRS segment quality strategy across repair locations.
• Lead site Quality Managers and strengthen succession and capability.
• Communicate performance, risks, and recovery plans to executive leaders.
• Ensure FAA Part 145 and applicable regulatory compliance.
• Drive audit readiness, corrective actions, and prevention of repeats.
• Use metrics to improve performance and reduce quality escapes.
• Lead responses to customer concerns, product escapes, and investigations.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to improve yield and defect prevention.
• Drive governance, data standards, and electronic quality workflows across locations.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, regulators, and certification bodies.
