Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance for Engine Component Repair Services (ECRS) to provide strategic and day-to-day quality leadership across its repair locations. This role oversees site Quality Managers, drives quality strategy, regulatory compliance, product integrity, and continuous improvement across the segment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, Business, or related technical discipline.
• At least 12 years of aerospace quality, maintenance/repair/overhaul, repair-station, manufacturing, engineering, or operations leadership experience.
• At least 7 years of people-leadership experience overseeing site Quality Managers or multi-site quality org.

Responsibilities

• Own and deploy the ECRS segment quality strategy, priorities, operating rhythm, and improvement roadmap across repair locations.
• Lead, coach, and hold accountable site Quality Managers to strengthen succession and capability.
• Serve as senior Quality partner to segment leadership and report performance, risks, and recovery plans to executives.
• Ensure compliance with FAA Part 145 and applicable aviation regulatory requirements.
• Drive audit readiness, corrective action, and prevention of repeat findings across the segment.
• Use quality metrics and risk signals to improve performance and reduce quality escapes.
• Lead responses to customer concerns, product escapes, investigations, containment, and recovery plans.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve first-pass yield and process capability without compromising compliance.
• Drive quality governance, data standards, and electronic quality management workflows across ECRS locations.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, regulators, and certification bodies through clear communication.
