Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) in Healdsburg, CA is seeking a Director, QA Eng to lead quality assurance across materials, processes, and products. The role calls for managing inspections, developing QA policies, and guiding testing programs to ensure precision and reliability.

You will lead a team, coordinate with operations and engineering, and drive projects to completion on time and budget, leveraging an 8–10 year background in quality with an engineering foundation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 8–10 years' experience or an equivalent combination
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Manages inspections of raw materials, equipment, processes and finished products.
• Implements quality standards and ensures protocols are followed for QA testing models.
• Assists in the design and implementation of policies and procedures for testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products/equipment.
• Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with HR & General Managers' concurrence.
