General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) seeks a Director of QA Engineering in Healdsburg, CA. You will lead quality assurance programs, develop testing methods, and drive supplier quality initiatives to ensure defect-free products.

The role requires an Associate degree with 8–10 years of experience (or equivalent) and proficiency in Microsoft Office. On-site presence and up to 25% travel are required.

Qualifications

• Required education and 8–10 years' experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, testing and inspection to ensure products are defect-free and function as designed.
• Designs and installs testing equipment and performs product testing to maintain quality levels and minimize defects.
• Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and corrective actions.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and handles personnel actions with HR & General Managers.
• Manages inspections of raw materials, equipment, processes and finished products.
