Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) seeks a Supervisor, Inspection to lead a quality assurance team on-site in Red Lion, PA. The role includes overseeing inspections and tests, driving adherence to standards, and mentoring staff to improve processes.

Responsibilities cover establishing sampling protocols, suggesting specification changes, and guiding the team through QA methods while coordinating with production and engineering to achieve reliable results.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 3-5 years' experience OR equivalent combination of relevant education &/or experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Oversees and monitors the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
• Establishes inspection protocols, defines sampling procedures, and determines equipment and mechanisms to be used in the testing process.
• Recommends changes in specifications of materials, parts, and products based on inspection results.
• May formulate and revise quality control policies and procedures.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.
