Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) seeks a Manager, QA to lead quality assurance activities for products, materials, and processes in a fast-paced environment. The role drives improvements per ISO 9001/AS9100 and coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance.

The candidate should hold at least an Associate's Degree with 5–7 years in QA leadership, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and be capable of implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong leadership, management, and communication skills are preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises programs and activities within the quality assurance functions of the organization.
• Oversees audit or inspection processes to monitor compliance with established quality standards.
• Administers policies and programs ensuring that organizational products and processes meet established quality standards.
• Participates in the development, implementation, and administration of a quality management system and monitors progress against quality goals.
• Supervises the work of a team of analysts that identify potential quality failures and implement corrective actions.
• Leads and directs work with responsibility for hiring, performance management, and termination with HR concurrence.
• Travel up to 25%.
