General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a Principal QA Engineer (SRM) to design, implement, and improve process controls and testing methods ensuring products are flaw-free and meet design specifications. The role involves analyzing defect data and driving process improvements across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will lead investigations, work with suppliers on quality issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize defects and failure rates.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Establishes quality standards for products and processes and suggests modifications to prevent defects.
• Audits production processes, raw materials, or suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conducts root cause analysis for defects and non-conformities.
• Collaborates with supplier representatives to address quality problems and implement corrective actions.
