Job summary

The Lewis Group of Companies in Upland, CA seeks a Director of Property Management Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership for centralized functions supporting Residential Property Management. You will oversee a 13–15 person team and partner with Regional Directors to improve processes and enable onsite teams with robust systems.

Travel to company projects is required; a base salary ranges from $125k to $155k with a comprehensive benefits package including auto and cellphone

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in multifamily property management or related operational leadership.
• 3–5+ years leading and developing teams across multiple functional areas.
• Strong knowledge of multifamily property management operations and administrative processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational infrastructure and centralized support for Residential Property Management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, automation, and centralization.
• Lead projects from planning through implementation and adoption, including change management.
• Oversee RealPage system administration, configuration, user support, enhancements, integrations, and adoption.
• Partner with IT, vendors, and leadership to implement new technology and improve workflows.
• Oversee centralized contract administration and contract invoice processing with strong controls.
• Govern RPM policies and procedures with Legal, HR, and Accounting to ensure compliance.
• Evolve the centralized operations model to create capacity for resident services and leasing.
• Oversee centralized Housing Assistance Program (HAP) support and related functions.
• Establish service levels, performance measures, and accountability across centralized functions.
• Lead and develop a team of ~13–15 employees emphasizing accountability and collaboration.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors to address field needs and develop scalable solutions.
• Leverage data and trends to inform business decisions and drive improvements.
