Job summary

American Terawatt is building a nationwide HVDC transmission network and is seeking a Manager/Director of Project Controls to design and lead the controls function from the ground up. You will own the integrated master schedule, lead a small team, and coordinate with Development, Engineering, Commercial and Procurement.

This hands-on role reports to the Head of Power Development and requires deep scheduling expertise plus strong communication with lenders and EPC partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project controls on large energy, transmission or infrastructure projects.
• Expert command of Primavera P6 with XER exchange, baselines, cost loading and delay analysis.
• Experience reviewing and integrating contractor and OEM schedules.
• Experience leading project controls while building schedules yourself.
• Clear written communication with executives, lenders and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and update Oracle Primavera P6: master schedule and baselines.
• Design, implement, maintain and update Asana: templates, structures, workflows.
• Own the risk register: scoring, owners, monthly reviews.
• Run monthly schedule updates: status, re-forecast, approvals and publish to Asana.
• Integrate OEM/EPC schedules via XER files and critical path analysis.
• Prepare schedule and controls package for financing; assess need for Senior Planner/Scheduler.
