Job summary

Oscar Health in New York City is seeking a Director of Product, Provider Data Management to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery across the end-to-end provider-data lifecycle. You will lead ingestion, reconciliation, credentialing workflows, and downstream data distribution to support network readiness and claims outcomes.

You will manage a team of Product Managers, partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Operations, and translate complex operational needs into scalable data-platform

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex, multi-team product areas.
• 5+ years of people-management experience, coaching and development of Product Managers.
• Experience leading strategy and execution for technically complex products with significant data or integration.
• Ability to define meaningful product and operational metrics and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Experience partnering with engineering, data, design, operations, and senior leaders in cross-functional settings.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize amid ambiguity and deliver across interdependent teams.
• Experience with provider-facing healthcare products or payer-provider operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear multi-year product vision and strategy for Provider Data Management.
• Own the product portfolio spanning ingestion, data reconciliation, credentialing, and downstream distribution.
• Establish data governance, quality standards, lineage, and controls for provider data.
• Lead and develop a team of Product Managers and establish product practices.
• Partner with Engineering and Data Science to set direction for data models, pipelines, and platform reliability.
• Drive modernization and simplification of fragmented workflows to reduce manual work.
• Ensure explainability and self-service capabilities for operators.
• Build alignment with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
