Job summary

Sanctuary Wealth is seeking a Director, Head of Private Direct Investments to lead and expand its platform, spanning private equity, private credit, real estate, venture capital, and other alternatives. You will develop relationships with sponsors, issuers, and family offices while collaborating with Sanctuary’s leadership and advisor network.

The role demands 5+ years in private markets and strong financial modeling, due diligence, and presentation skills, with a disruptive business-building

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in private markets or related fields.
• Experience evaluating, structuring, or executing private investments.
• Strong knowledge of private equity, private credit, real estate, VC, infra.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence skills.
• Experience presenting recommendations to executives or committees.
• Ability to develop relationships and drive growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic vision, growth, and execution of Sanctuary’s Private Direct Investments platform.
• Establish annual business objectives, growth initiatives, revenue forecasts, and capital placement goals.
• Develop and expand the platform across asset classes (PE, credit, real estate, VC, infra).
• Partner with executives to set investment priorities and long-term strategy.
• Develop scalable processes and resources for sourcing, diligence, transaction execution, and advisor distribution.
• Monitor platform utilization, pipeline activity, capital formation, and performance.
• Lead transactions from sourcing to closing and funding.
• Coordinate stakeholders, counsel, compliance, and service providers to execute efficiently.
• Negotiate terms and structures; prepare offering documents and diligence materials.
• Manage timelines, risks, and regulatory/operational processes.
