Metric DCX, a US manufacturer of critical power and energy technologies, seeks a Director of Power Conversion & Energy Storage to lead a multidisciplinary team of about 10 engineers. You will own the technical direction for power electronics, batteries, and BMS, and drive products from concept to production and commercial release.

The role emphasizes strong senior engineering leadership, OEM-style development, and the ability to shape the company's next generation of power conversion and energy

Qualifications

Deep knowledge of power conversion and battery technologies.
Experience leading engineering teams to production.
Strong background in end-to-end product development.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of ~10 engineers.
Own technical direction across power conversion and energy storage.
Drive products from concept through prototyping, validation and production.
Oversee development across power electronics, BMS, embedded controls and DC power systems.
Set engineering priorities, processes and roadmaps.
Collaborate with manufacturing, product and commercial teams to industrialize new tech.
