Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Director of Systems Engineering to lead architecture, development, and delivery of next‑gen power conversion solutions.

You will guide DC/DC converter topology, firmware control, packaging, and magnetics while building a high‑performing engineering organization that influences product roadmaps. You will partner with Product Marketing, Design, Test, and Package Development to define requirements, mitigate risks, and ensure on‑time delivery of milestones.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in power electronics including DC/DC design and control loop analysis.
• Leadership or mentoring experience of engineers.
• Firmware/embedded systems knowledge for power management.
• Familiarity with power package design (thermal management, parasitic inductance).
• Familiarity with magnetics design tradeoffs (core material, winding losses).
• Strong communication for technical and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers across Systems, Firmware, Packaging, and Magnetics to deliver power conversion products.
• Set goals aligned with product roadmaps and conduct performance reviews.
• Recruit and onboard talent as the team scales and collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Oversee architecture for DC/DC converters, firmware architecture, packaging, and magnetics.
• Drive risk management, schedule adherence, and quality across architecture reviews and test milestones.
• Represent the team in reviews to leadership with status and technical recommendations.
