Dwihn in Detroit, MI is seeking a Director of Project Management to lead organization-wide PMO initiatives and standardize project methods. You will guide project selection, alignment with strategy, and execution from initiation to sustainability.

The role requires oversight of a project portfolio, data analytics, and cross-functional leadership to ensure measurable outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (Human Services, Business Admin, Public Admin, Health Admin, Social Sciences or related).
• Five (5) years of full-time professional experience in human services, healthcare, behavioral health, or related operations.
• Three (3) years of full-time experience in project management, program administration, quality improvement, or system redesign.
• Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), PMP, CAPM, or other recognized project management certification preferred.
• A Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsabilités

• Provides organization-wide leadership in developing, implementing, and maintaining standardized project management methodologies, tools, and reporting processes.
• Oversees the organization’s full project portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic goals and executive directives.
• Conducts initial analysis of proposed projects to determine feasibility, scope, risk, resource needs, and alignment with priorities.
• Reviews and approves project plans from start to finish, ensuring clearly defined goals, timelines, deliverables, workflows, and accountability structures.
• Outlines and documents project processes, implementation steps, and required deliverables for consistent execution.
• Ensures all projects incorporate measurable outcomes, pre- and post-implementation data analysis, and sustainability plans.
• Monitors project performance organization-wide, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Collects, analyzes, and reports outcome data to evaluate project effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Develops and maintains organizational project dashboards, tracking systems, and performance metrics.
• Leads quality improvement and process redesign initiatives that support transformation and efficiency.
• Provides consultation, training, and technical assistance to departmental leaders and project teams on PM best practices.
• Guides departments in identifying operational gaps and process inefficiencies that may require intervention.
• Leads cross-functional workgroups to resolve challenges and support completion.
• Ensures project work aligns with regulatory, compliance, and accreditation standards.
• Makes data-driven recommendations to executive leadership regarding projects and priorities.
