Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Director, Strategic Programs & Projects to lead the PMO, translating executive priorities into measurable outcomes across a portfolio of strategic initiatives. You will guide program managers, drive governance, and shape delivery models to ensure high-quality execution across cross-functional teams.

You will mentor delivery leaders, plan talent and budget resources, and provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
12–15 years of progressive project/program/portfolio management experience leading complex enterprise initiatives.
Experience in Big Four/global management consulting or similar complex matrixed environments preferred.
Knowledge of commercial real estate, professional services, or service-based delivery organizations preferred.
5+ years of people leadership experience managing PMO teams.
PMP, PgMP, Prosci, Agile/Scrum, or similar certifications preferred.
Proven experience leading PMO functions and enterprise program management teams.
Experience managing a portfolio of concurrent strategic initiatives with governance, staffing, and budgeting accountability.

Responsibilities

Own delivery health and oversight for a portfolio of strategic programs and projects.
Translate executive priorities into executable roadmaps and resource plans.
Establish and improve PMO governance, templates, and reporting standards.
Lead, coach, and develop Program Managers and Project Managers.
Drive talent planning, workforce development, and succession planning.
Provide strategic guidance to navigate complexity and mitigate risks.
Monitor portfolio risks, dependencies, and cross-functional impacts with escalation.
