Freshworks is seeking a Director of Performance Management & Employee Listening, based in San Mateo, CA, in a hybrid role. You will lead performance management transformation and a modern employee listening program, partnering across HR, analytics, and business leaders to drive durable change and measurable outcomes.

You’ll design end-to-end systems, enable change at scale, and foster a high-performance culture with AI-enabled capabilities and executive visibility at the VP and C-suite level.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of progressive experience in HR, people strategy, organizational effectiveness, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading complex transformation initiatives from design through execution in a fast-paced environment with deep expertise in performance management design.
• Meaningful experience in organizational design and development and turning conversations into action.
• Strong change management and enablement skills with a track record of driving adoption.
• An AI-first mindset and curiosity about what AI makes possible in people practices.
• Exceptional executive presence with comfort presenting to C-suite leaders.
• High attention to detail and strong cross-functional instincts.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance management transformation and design end-to-end systems.
• Own employee listening programs and translate signals into leadership action.
• Drive change management and enablement strategies to scale adoption.
• Collaborate with Finance, Strategy, and Operations to integrate solutions.
• Present to senior leaders, defend plans, and iterate in real time.
