Panorama Education seeks a Director of People Operations & Systems to own the People technology ecosystem, data integrity, payroll governance, and employee lifecycle operations. You will lead a modern HRIS program and design scalable, self-service workflows with AI-enabled automation.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of progressive People Operations, HRIS, payroll operations, or related experience.
• Experience leading a major HRIS implementation or transformation; Rippling preferred; ADP Workforce Now a plus.
• Strong payroll fluency, including controls, multi-state considerations, audits, exceptions.
• Experience leading and developing operational team members with clear accountability.
• Strong systems and data orientation across process architecture, data quality, reporting, integrations, and controls.
• Evidence of redesigning workflows through automation, AI, self-service, or technology; not just digitizing.
• Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude in problem solving and workflow design.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and judgment.
• Ability to partner across Finance, IT, Security, Legal, Talent, and senior People leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the People technology ecosystem and roadmap, including HRIS architecture, governance, integrations, access, vendor performance, and continuous improvement.
• Lead requirements, data migration, configuration decisions, testing, training, rollout, and adoption for HRIS modernization in partnership with implementation experts.
• Ensure scalable workflows, self-service, and reliable downstream data across the People stack.
• Partner with IT and Security on integrations, access controls, system changes, and audit requirements.
• Own integrity and governance of People data, including structures, compensation data, records, and reporting.
