Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a senior operations leader to oversee Visitor Services, Patient Transport and Volunteer Services at the Greer Medical Campus. You will supervise departments, recruit volunteers, coordinate staff schedules, and develop programs to enhance patient satisfaction and public relations.

The role collaborates with hospital administration to implement policies, train staff, monitor budgets, and promote community engagement to support hospital goals.

Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s in Business or related field of study.
• Experience - Five (5) years of healthcare, customer service or similar experience.
• In lieu of the education and experience requirements noted above, an Associate degree and seven (7) years of experience may be considered.
• Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses - Certified Healthcare Environmental Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains communication with patients, visitors, families, physicians and their office staff to monitor customer satisfaction.
• Assists administration in resolving customer problems and/or addressing their suggestions.
• Provides customer service training to hospital employees.
• Manages the Operations of the Visitor Services, Patient Transport and Volunteer Services departments.
• Manages Visitors Services staff and daily operations of Patient Transportation.
• Recruits hospital volunteers and directs activities of Volunteer Services.
• Assists with development and management of the PFAC program.
• Plans and monitors department budgets and ensures operations stay within budget.
• Develops community relationships for marketing purposes and represents department in local functions.
