Qualifications

• Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Five (5) years clerical experience in a healthcare setting; two (2) years as a lead/coordinator level in billing, admissions, scheduling, and/or medical records; one (1) year at a management level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the physician practice to ensure quality patient services and teamwork.
• Directs development and maintenance of department policies and procedures; ensures adherence to hospital policies.
• Manages human resources including hiring, orientation, training, discipline, and staff dismissal; monitors staffing levels.
• Supports staff development, goal setting, and leadership to boost productivity and morale.
• Investigates complaints and regulatory issues; maintains accurate and confidential medical records.
• Ensures safety and security of employees, facilities, and equipment; performs other duties as assigned.
