Blue Cross NC is seeking a Director of Operations Support to provide leadership, vision, and direction for multiple units responsible for initiatives that create efficiencies, optimize systems, and promote quality.

You will lead teams in auditing, process improvement, program management, and data analysis, manage budgets, and drive enterprise projects from business case to delivery, with hybrid-flex and remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Alternative: 12 years’ experience in multifunctional operations or IS application/software development.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and set goals for teams delivering initiatives to create efficiencies and quality.
• Provide leadership, vision, and direction; determine priorities reflecting core values.
• Develop, coach and motivate others to act towards future state objectives.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets with forecasting and variance analysis.
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and re-engineering.
• Direct staff of SMEs on business initiatives, production issues, and configurations.
• Oversee enterprise and departmental projects from business case to ROI and planning.
• Optimize existing systems, processes, and workflows, including call center workforce planning.
• Ensure integrity of departmental applications and oversee system configurations.
• Lead product implementation and enhancement support; assess technology needs.
