Job summary

Gigantes Group, a Westchester County-based technology integration firm, seeks a Director of Operations to own project delivery, field operations and service performance across New York. You will lead project managers, field teams and service coordinators, ensuring safety, quality and on-time execution across complex AV and security deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial AV, electronic security, low-voltage or telecoms integration.
• At least 5 years in an operational leadership role.
• Strong understanding of project financials, labour forecasting, resource allocation and profitability.
• Experience managing multiple projects, field teams and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with integrated security and AV platforms (Genetec, Lenel, Avigilon, Axis, Crestron).
• Ability to establish effective processes while staying hands-on with project delivery.
• Excellent communication with senior leadership, clients and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project managers, field technicians, service coordination, procurement and subcontractor partners.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to high quality standards.
• Own labour planning, project costs, change orders, margins and profitability.
• Build and develop teams through training, mentoring and clear standards.
• Develop and refine procedures, workflows and reporting to boost productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, sales and finance for smooth handovers and delivery.
• Maintain high service standards and manage client escalations.
