Job summary

Gigantes Group, a Westchester County-based technology integration firm, seeks a Director of Operations to own project delivery, field operations and service performance across New York. Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial AV, electronic security, low-voltage or telecoms integration.
• At least 5 years in an operational leadership role.
• Strong understanding of project financials, labour forecasting, resource allocation and profitability.
• Experience managing multiple projects, field teams and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with integrated security and AV platforms (Genetec, Lenel, Avigilon, Axis, Crestron).
• Ability to establish effective processes while staying hands-on with project delivery.
• Excellent communication with senior leadership, clients and technical teams.

Director of Operations – Technology Integration

The Opportunity

An established and growing technology integration business is looking for an experienced Director of Operations to take ownership of project delivery, field operations and service performance across its New York operations.

The company has built a strong reputation delivering complex, high-value technology projects across commercial, hospitality, luxury residential and enterprise environments. Its portfolio includes multimillion-dollar developments, with a focus on quality, technical expertise and long-standing client relationships.

Working closely with the VP of Operations, you'll lead the teams responsible for taking projects from planning through installation, commissioning and ongoing service.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Operational Leadership: Oversee project managers, field technicians, service coordination, procurement, warehouse operations and subcontractor partners.
• Project Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and to a consistently high standard.
• Commercial Performance: Take ownership of labour planning, project costs, change orders, margins and operational profitability.
• Team Development: Build strong, accountable teams through effective resource planning, training, mentoring and clear operational standards.
• Process Improvement: Develop and refine procedures, workflows and reporting to improve productivity, quality and consistency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with estimating, engineering, sales and finance to ensure smooth project handovers and delivery.
• Client Relationships: Maintain high service standards, manage escalations and help strengthen long-term client partnerships.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with experienced operational leaders who understand the realities of delivering complex technology integration projects.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• 10+ years of experience within commercial AV, electronic security, low-voltage or telecommunications integration.
• At least 5 years in an operational leadership role, managing installation teams, project managers or service operations.
• A strong understanding of project financials, labour forecasting, resource allocation and profitability.
• Experience managing multiple projects, field teams and subcontractors simultaneously.
• Familiarity with integrated security and AV technologies, including platforms such as Genetec, Lenel, Avigilon, Axis and Crestron.
• The ability to establish effective processes while remaining hands-on and close to project delivery.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with senior leadership, clients and technical teams.

Experience with New York construction safety requirements, including OSHA 30 and SST certifications, would be beneficial.
