Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising roughly 15 staff, planning professional development, coordinating schedules and payroll, and managing contracts. A Class B CDL with P and S endorsements is required within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience with operations within facilities maintenance, custodial services, or pupil transportation systems.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license at time of hire.
• Hold or obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements within 90 days of employment.
• Strong administrative, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate, and direct approximately 15 transportation, maintenance, and custodial personnel.
• Plan, organize, and provide ongoing professional development and safety instruction for department staff.
• Oversee the district’s transportation operations, including bus routes and field trips.
• Oversee facilities maintenance, custodial services, and grounds coordination across multiple sites.
• Procure supplies, equipment, and contracted services per district policies and maintain records.
