Job summary

TRS-RenTelco - A Division of McGrath in Dallas seeks a Director of Operations to lead 80+ staff across lab operations, logistics, and customer support, overseeing a $600M inventory and shaping the company’s operational strategy.

You will drive performance, ensure compliance with ISO standards, and partner with sales and product teams to improve delivery and asset utilization. This is a senior, multi-functional leadership role requiring strong analytics and execution acumen.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of operations leadership experience in technical, industrial, or equipment-based business.
• Strong background in quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 preferred).
• Experience managing labs, repair operations, or technical service environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6+ direct reports and an organization of ~80+ employees across lab operations, customer support, logistics, inventory management, and technical service functions.
• Own daily operations across facilities, calibration labs, repair, customer support, shipping/receiving, and inventory management of $600M in equipment.
• Drive cycle time reduction, throughput improvement, and asset utilization while aligning operations with sales and product management.
• Ensure equipment quality, on-time delivery, and responsible calibration, repair, and configuration accuracy.
• Oversee budgeted expenses and capital allocation, optimize vendor relations, and implement data-driven improvements across labs and logistics.
