Job summary

TRS-RenTelco Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations in Dallas, TX to lead a team of 80+ across lab operations, customer support, logistics, and technical services. You will oversee a $600M inventory, ensure quality compliance, and drive efficiency and profitability.

You will build high-performing teams, set accountability, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to optimize delivery, quality, and customer outcomes in a fast-paced technical environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years operations leadership experience in technical, industrial, or equipment-based business.
• Strong background in quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 preferred).
• Experience managing labs, repair operations, or technical service environments.
• Experience leading an organization of 50+ employees including multiple layers of leadership.
• Proven ability to scale operations and drive measurable performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6+ direct reports and ~80 employees across multiple functions.
• Own daily operations across facilities, calibration labs, repair, and shipping.
• Drive cycle time reduction, throughput, and asset utilization.
• Align operations with sales and product management to support revenue growth.
• Maintain ISO 9001 / ISO 17025 quality standards and improve processes.
• Own operating costs including labor, freight, and maintenance expenses.
