The Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee the daily operations, service delivery, and administrative functions of our DFTA-funded Brooklyn-based Older Adult Centers. This role ensures efficient center operations, strong staff supervision, and contract compliance.

Based on a full-time, on-site, multi-site environment with regular travel between centers, the position calls for leadership, process improvement, and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5–7 years in operations or program management with staff supervision.
• Experience overseeing multiple functions and budgets; ensure compliance.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and operational reporting systems.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily center operations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Establish procedures, schedules, workflows, and performance standards.
• Coordinate facilities, food service, transportation, and other needs.
• Supervise center leadership and staff; monitor performance and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with DFTA contracts and regulatory requirements.
