Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island (JCCGCI) in Brooklyn is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the safety, maintenance, and daily operations of all program vehicles and drivers.

This role collaborates with mechanics, drivers, administrative staff, and leadership to ensure the fleet is safe, compliant, and efficiently operated in support of transportation services for older adults and community members.

Competenze

• Experience with scheduling tools and data tracking systems.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and safety standards.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with mechanics.
• Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance requirements.

Mansioni

• Oversee the safety, readiness, cleanliness, and overall condition of all vehicles.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, recalls, and registrations with mechanics and staff.
• Maintain fleet equipment and supplies (safety equipment, GPS units, signage, cleaning materials).
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Review and process maintenance invoices, fuel receipts, and related records.
