Bluegrass Supply Chain in Columbus, OH is seeking a Director of Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple facilities and client business units. You will drive operational performance, improve efficiency, scale processes, manage budgets, and develop high-performing teams, while partnering with senior leadership to align with growth goals.

This role emphasizes customer satisfaction, labor planning, WMS enhancement, and continuous improvement in a growing 3PL

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• MBA or other Masters degree in logistics, supply chain, etc., strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience, preferably within a 3PL or warehousing environment.
• Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic problem-solving, project management, and process improvement.
• Proven leadership, negotiation, and change management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership oversight across multiple locations or business units to ensure consistent execution of standards.
• Serve as a liaison between operations teams and senior leadership, communicating metrics, risks, and opportunities.
• Drive alignment between operations strategy and company growth objectives.
• Establish and monitor quality control and performance management systems.
• Evaluate workflows to improve efficiency, cost control, safety, and service quality.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain a customer-centric focus ensuring adherence to SLAs and customer expectations.
