Job summary

Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico in Las Cruces seeks a dynamic Director of Operations to lead and optimize the Las Cruces operations, including warehouse, transportation, and fleet management. You will ensure safe, timely, and cost-efficient product flow from receipt to delivery across the 10-county Southern New Mexico region.

The role requires 5+ years of leadership in warehouse/distribution, strong knowledge of inventory systems, and a commitment to food safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• A four-year college degree in business management, logistics, or supply chain highly preferred.
• Five years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics.
• Experience with inventory management and ERP systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• OSHA forklift certification within 30 days.
• Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily and long-range operations for receiving, warehousing, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, loading, transportation, and delivery in Las Cruces.
• Establish schedules and priorities for staffing, equipment, and delivery to meet service commitments.
• Coordinate with Programs, Finance, People & Culture, Facilities and other teams to align product availability and priorities.
• Maintain safety, food safety, and regulatory compliance across all operations.
• Oversee budget planning, cost control, and capital projects for Las Cruces operations.
