Job summary

SitelogIQ is seeking a Director of Operations to drive on-time, on-budget project execution with exceptional client satisfaction. You will lead the operations department, overseeing regional performance in deliverables, timing, quality, and financial results, while guiding project teams to success.

This role requires regional travel (up to 20%), collaboration with partners, subcontractors, and vendors, and strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Construction or similar technical field.
• 10+ years’ experience in construction field preferred.
• Reliable, effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment with changing and/or competing priorities.
• Technical aptitude and detail-oriented.
• Experience with building codes and construction testing services.
• Fluent with Procore and Microsoft office programs.
• A valid driver’s license is required for travel related to job duties with a reliable vehicle.
• Must be able to pass Pennsylvania’s strict background check.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns projects to complete operational requirements.
• Facilitate handoffs from development to delivery processes.
• Communicate and validate expectations with partners, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Manage performance of Project Management team in a dynamic environment.
• Provide monthly feedback on financial commitments and address risks or opportunities in backlog.
• Verify PMs follow contracts, schedules of value, and timely billing.
• Maintain workflow by improving processes, cost reductions, and record-keeping systems.
• Recommend and implement positive operational changes.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and networking.
• Offer guidance to Project Managers to achieve best-in-class performance.
