Job summary

SitelogIQ, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our West Business Unit in Southern California with weekly travel to client sites. The role supports the Project Manager to meet short- and long-term goals while ensuring client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a construction background and 2+ years of hands-on project experience, with knowledge of MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction management or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on construction project experience.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of construction technology and project management tools (MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
• OSHA30 certification (or plan to obtain within one year).

Responsibilities

• Supports project team with implementation of contractual scopes of work, site visits, subcontractor coordination, and pre-construction walks.
• Develop and maintain preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans, including subcontract creation and equipment procurement; coordinates review and approval with Project Manager and communicates this information to the project team.
• Support the maintenance of project schedules, including targeted and actual activity lists, durations, and sequencing logic and communicates this information to the project team.
• Prepare Monthly Status Reports.
• Interact with clients on assigned projects and promote positive relationships.
• Review all shop drawings and submittals for conformance with design prior to submission to the design professional.
• Complete close-out requirements and turnover documents.
• Change control documentation and related financial documentation.
• Develop an understanding of contractually required quality and support QA for the project.
• Develop a working knowledge of the project budget and identify exceptions; monitor and report project costs.
• Support documentation of projects with proper saving of all project information to the company server.
