Job summary

Vicus Capital in State College, PA, seeks a dynamic Director of Operations to lead the Operations and DCSA staff. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will supervise day-to-day operations, staff development, and performance oversight while ensuring top-tier client service.

The ideal candidate will maintain strong communication with investors, advisors, and executives, and drive real-time solutions to close gaps in controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Series 65 licensed within one year of hire.
• Professionalism and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent people management and coaching abilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and supervise Operations and DCSA staff.
• Collaborate with Compliance to develop and enforce policies.
• Back up processing tasks: new accounts, cashiering, maintenance.
• Oversee vendor relationships with Fidelity, Schwab, and DocuSign.
• Develop business continuity plans and cross-training initiatives.
• Perform regular due diligence on new systems impacting Operations.
