Vicus Capital in State College, PA seeks a Director of Operations to lead the Operations and DCSA staff. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and ensures day-to-day operations, policy enforcement with Compliance, and continuous process improvement.

The Director will back up all staff, manage vendor relationships, and develop solutions to close controls gaps while maintaining open dialogue with the COO on daily operations and strategic projects. In-office position in State College, PA.

Qualifications

• Series 65 Licensed (required within one year of hire).
• High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic.
• Excellent people skills with the ability to coach, train, and manage direct reports.
• Critical thinking, complex problem solving, and time management.
• Outstanding follow-through and ability to see tasks to completion.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; CRM experience preferred (Redtail/HubSpot).

Responsabilités

• Support Advisory Operations Team delivering world-class client service for a nationwide advisor network.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with financial advisors and their staff.
• Manage and develop Operations and Dedicated Client Services staff; provide back-up as needed.
• Process new accounts, cashiering, and maintenance requests as part of processing team.
• Monitor SLA and delegate work accordingly; ensure quality control of cashiering operations.
• Lead process improvement, office ops study groups, and operational policy development with Compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships with partners like Fidelity, Schwab, DocuSign.
• Perform due diligence on new systems affecting Operations; participate in semi-annual advisor meetings.
• Design business continuity coverage, cross-training, and real-time triage.
