Macy’s, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations for our new omnichannel fulfillment center in China Grove, NC.

The role directs day-to-day inbound and outbound operations, aligns with senior leadership, and drives short- and long-term strategic plans to meet facility and company goals. The position reports to the Senior Facility Director, leading leaders and hourly colleagues, and focusing on delivering a best-in-class luxury customer experience while maintaining safety and efficiency across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a track record of developing teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset.
• Experience in warehouse management and supply chain/logistics trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead inbound and outbound operations to meet targets like UPH, CPU, SOT, and Fill Rate.
• Provide coaching to executive team members and supervise colleague development.
• Ensure safety, cost control, quality, and customer service standards abound.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
