Job summary

Macy's, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Operations for our brand new fully automated Customer Fulfillment Center in China Grove, NC. You will lead hourly colleagues, partner with the Director of Operations, and optimize day-to-day distribution operations to meet goals.

You will build high performing teams, analyze performance data, and collaborate with IT to refine systems that boost productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and move/stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a distribution department focused on meeting or surpassing goals.
• Build high performing teams by guiding and supporting hourly staff.
• Generate reports on key metrics for management.
• Ensure safety, cost control, quality, and reliability across departments.
• Collaborate with IT to refine systems and improve operations.
• Create a safe, inclusive work culture and provide coaching to staff.
