Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the Chicago area seeks a Director of Operations Excellence Training to design and coordinate education programs that strengthen Operational Excellence and the WoW Operating Way across the enterprise.

You will lead learning strategy, analyze needs, manage budgets, and partner with HR and Continuous Improvement to deliver training with measurable ROI that enhances service excellence and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business, HR, Adult Education, Instructional Design or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive Operations experience with learning and development.
• Experience with eLearning / LMS platform preferred.
• Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, especially remote employees.

Responsibilities

• Drive the strategic direction of the learning and development function to deliver engaging learning experiences, continuous improvement, and optimal business results.
• Evaluate existing training programs for impact and alignment with functional needs.
• Identify, design, develop, implement, and facilitate learning and development programs and initiatives utilizing various platforms to improve performance and engagement.
• Analyze past- and current-year training requirements to prepare an annual budget.
• Oversee enterprise-wide training projects and vendor relationships.
• Lead change management initiatives and new program deployment strategies.
