STRIVE INTERNATIONAL INC. in New York City seeks a results-driven Director of NYC Programs to lead our New York program operations, including strategic planning, staff oversight, and partnership development.

You will manage budgets, ensure program quality, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with funders to sustain growth while advancing justice‑impacted youth and job seekers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s strongly preferred or 7+ years in workforce development with 3+ in senior leadership.
• Deep commitment to social justice, equity, and workforce practices serving justice-impacted youth and economically marginalized communities.
• Experience leading high-performing teams across multiple departments including business development, recruitment, and direct service delivery.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all STRIVE New York programs.
• Hire, train, supervise, and support a diverse, high-performing staff across programs and recruitment teams.
• Oversee program models including career readiness, sector-based training, job placement, and long-term retention strategies.
• Manage program budgets and resources to meet performance targets and ensure sustainability.
• Lead strategic planning with leadership to identify opportunities for expansion and innovation.
• Build and maintain partnerships with employers, funders, government agencies, and community organizations.
• Utilize labor market data and feedback to refine sectoral training pathways and manage training providers.
• Oversee data systems, performance tracking, and funder reporting; generate internal/external reports.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director on funder and stakeholder communications.
• Identify and address risks to minimize disruptions and maintain program integrity.
• Drive innovation to meet the needs of justice-impacted youth and low-income job seekers.
• Ensure effective student recruitment and enrollment strategies across programs with equity in access.
