Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide leadership in our long-term care and sub-acute centers. You will oversee nursing care, coordinate clinical departments, ensure quality care, regulatory compliance, and assist the Nursing Home Administrator as needed.

The ideal candidate holds an ASN or higher, an active RN license in the state, and at least 1 year of nursing leadership experience, preferably in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or higher required.
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• 1+ years nursing leadership experience required.
• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting preferred.
• Proficient with PCs, Windows, MS Office, Internet-based applications, and EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services in a long-term care and skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the clinical department, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance; manage budget; supervise clinical staff; backup Nursing Home Administrator.

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the clinical department, ensuring quality care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing and controlling budget, and will provide leadership and oversight of the center's clinical staff and will serve as the Nursing Home Administrator's backup as needed

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or above required
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
• One (1+) years nursing leadership experience required.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.
