Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing care and services in a long-term care environment. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to coordinate staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a high standard of resident care.

The role requires ASN or higher in nursing and active RN licensure, with 1+ years in nursing leadership within LTC/SNF settings. Strong PC, EMR, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher is required.
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• 1+ years nursing leadership/long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services for residents in a long‑term care or skilled nursing/sub-acute setting.

Responsibilities Of An Assistant Director Of Nursing

• One (1+) or more years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting required.
• Prior nursing leadership experience LTC / SNF preferred.
• Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess the ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.
