Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management in Lincolnton, NC is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with leadership experience to oversee nursing care in a long-term care and sub-acute setting. This full-time role offers growth opportunities, a supportive leadership team, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will supervise clinical staff, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and serve as the Nursing Home Administrator's backup.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher nursing degree and RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1+ years of nursing leadership experience.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing/sub-acute settings preferred.
• Proficient with EMR systems and basic PC software.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the clinical department, ensuring quality care and regulatory compliance, and assist in budget management.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to patients and residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing / sub-acute care nursing center (all units).
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the clinical department, ensuring quality care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing and controlling budget, and will provide leadership and oversight of the center's clinical staff and will serve as the Nursing Home Administrator's backup as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or above required
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
• One (1+) years nursing leadership experience required.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.
