Conchohealthandrehab is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and shape the care experience for residents. This executive nursing role emphasizes compliance, staff leadership, and hands-on support on the floor to maintain exemplary care.

The DON will oversee recruitment, scheduling, payroll alignment, and documentation, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to craft individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing with the State of Texas.
• Proven leadership experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
• Strong clinical skills with a restorative care approach.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance: Oversee nursing services per company, state, and federal guidelines.
• Lead the team: Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of nursing staff.
• Support direct care: Assist on the floor to maintain high-quality care.
• Review payroll: Approve payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain records: Monitor resident records for accuracy and documentation.
• Develop care plans: Collaborate with physicians and teams to create individualized plans.
• Provide resources: Ensure access to equipment and supplies for nursing staff.
• Coach and mentor: Lead, mentor, and support staff to improve performance and outcomes.
