Conchohealthandrehab seeks a seasoned Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and elevate resident care in Texas. You will supervise clinical operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and mentor staff with compassion and expertise.

In this role you will recruit, onboard, schedule, and evaluate nursing staff, maintain accurate records, review payroll, and collaborate with physicians to craft individualized care plans for residents.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN license in good standing with the State of Texas.
• Proven leadership experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
• Possesses strong clinical skills and a restorative care approach.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Excels in organization, communication, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing services in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of nursing staff.
• Step in to assist on the floor when needed to maintain high-quality care.
• Review payroll submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor resident records for accuracy and appropriate documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
• Ensure nursing staff have timely access to equipment and supplies.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to improve performance and outcomes.
