Director of Nursing

A Director of Nursing is needed in Marlton, NJ with a well-established and successful healthcare organization that continues to serve their patients with exceptional care.

Salary and Benefits

  • The pay for this position is $90,000 - $140,000 based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Monday – Friday (8:00AM – 5:00PM)
  • In office position unless called out to handle emergency situations
  • Ensures nursing department is compliant with federal, state and local regulations
  • Serves as a clinical leader in various projects and forums
  • Supervises RN, LPN and CMA; develops and monitors performance plans; monitors and evaluates nursing activities and takes corrective action where needed
  • Assists in the recruitment, development and orientation of nursing staff
  • Provides nursing care services as needed, including but not limited to administering medications; assesses patient’s response to treatment and nursing care
  • In conjunction with the Director of Clinical Compliance, leads immunization and lab diagnostic tracking

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration or related field)
  • MBA, MPH, or MSN strongly preferred
  • New Jersey RN License & CPR
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in health care management (multisite experience preferred)
  • Experience in an ambulatory care setting is highly desired
  • Strong clinical, managerial, and computer skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
  • Must have a passion for public service and a commitment to diversity
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel between all locations when needed
