Floating Director of Nursing (DON)

Position Overview: The Floating DON is responsible for activities and functions related to the administration of patient care systems, nursing areas, and departments on an interim basis. This position provides DON functions intermittently across assigned programs and involves extensive travel to different locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of DON experience in an SNF environment.
• Current valid RN licensure in the state of residency, or eligibility for licensure in the state of operation.

Management Skills: Demonstrates management practices that include staff empowerment, clear expectations, regular feedback, and adherence to Continuous Quality Improvement principles.
