Job summary

Vita of Marion in Marion, IN seeks a Nursing supervisor to lead the clinical team, oversee resident care, and ensure compassionate, dignified service. You will coordinate care plans, conduct assessments, and mentor staff in a resident-focused environment.

The role requires LPN licensure with RN preferred, strong communication, and a track record in supervisory leadership within supportive living or long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial resident assessments and care planning.

• Oversees infection control program and regulatory compliance.
• Manages medication program and participates in QA/PI initiatives.

Responsibilities:Conducts initial assessment of prospective residents, including off-site visitsPerforms wellness assessments and develops individualized care plans based on the needs and preferences of each residentDelivers health promotion services, offers disease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education to residentsEngages with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experienceFosters communication by regularly engaging with physicians, pertinent healthcare providers, and family membersHires, trains, schedules, and leads the clinical team in providing exceptional care experiencesCoordinates the Community’s infection control program while maintaining state regulatory complianceDevelop and oversee the Community’s medication management programContributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesComplies with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident informationQualifications:Maintains current state nursing licensure.
