Reflections Retirement Community in Fishersville, VA, is seeking a skilled nursing leader for a full-time, first-shift role. You will supervise clinical staff, conduct resident assessments, and coordinate quality and infection control programs to ensure high‑quality care.

The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care, mentoring a team, and partnering with physicians and families to deliver safe, dignified services.

Qualifications

• Current state nursing licensure is required; LPN licensure is acceptable, RN preferred.
• Minimum of two years nursing supervisory experience.
• Prior senior/supportive living experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates leadership and supervisory ability with mentoring capacity.
• Strong interpersonal skills with compassionate, dignified care.

Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 Salary

Job Shift: 1st shift

Responsibilities:

• Conducts initial assessment of prospective residents, including off-site visits
• Performs wellness assessments and develops individualized care plans based on the needs and preferences of each resident
• Delivers health promotion services, offers disease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education to residents
• Engages with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Fosters communication by regularly engaging with physicians, pertinent healthcare providers, and family members
• Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the clinical team in providing exceptional care experiences
• Coordinates the Community’s infection control program while maintaining state regulatory compliance
• Develop and oversee the Community’s medication management program
• Contributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Complies with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information

Qualifications
