Position Summary

The Director of Nursing is responsible for organizing, developing, managing, and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The role involves working closely with the Administrator and Medical Director to ensure high-quality care for residents, adhering to health, sanitary, and infection control policies, and maintaining standards set by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education & Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Infection control prevention certification is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow instructions.
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, and community leadership.
• Adherence to safety and sanitary techniques.
• Availability to work scheduled hours.
• Must not pose a health or safety threat to others.

Experience

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in healthcare, preferably in long-term care.

Shift & Wage

• Full-Time, Day Shift.
